Washington, DC, July 13, 2010 – Patriot Technologies Group, LLC (PTG) is very proud to announce the formal launch of the Multi-Mission Aircraft (MMA).

“After years of careful planning and preparation, we are thrilled to officially debut our law enforcement, fire, and homeland security support product, the Multi-Mission Aircraft,” said PTG CEO Dan Caine.

PTG's Multi-Mission Aircraft

PTG, a company of airborne surveillance pilots, operators and engineers, created the PTG MMA as a result of findings from a multi-year study evaluating all current airborne law enforcement aircraft. The study concluded that decreasing budgets coupled with increasing operational and maintenance costs necessitates a more affordable platform.

Based on these findings, PTG designed and built the Multi-Mission Aircraft (MMA) that meets and exceeds these challenges.  PTG’s MMA, based on the Jabiru J-430 four seat aircraft, provides extraordinarily cost efficient support while exponentially increasing overt and covert patrol and surveillance capability.

PTG’s MMA is an extraordinarily capable single-engine, composite, high-wing aircraft that delivers remarkable fuel efficiency.  The back seats of this nominally four place aircraft have been removed to install the surveillance equipment rack and camera ball elevator. The PTG Sensor Lift System allows the crew to retract the camera into the fuselage to maintain maximum flight efficiency. Additionally, it allows camera protection on take-off, climb-out and landing, then extends the camera well below the fuselage for an unobstructed field of view.  Including fuel, consumables, maintenance, inspections and engine overhaul reserve, the MMA aircraft operation cost is less than $100 per fight hour.

The next stop on the PTG MMA sales tour is Tucson, Arizona for this week’s Airborne Law Enforcement Association’s 2010 Annual Summer Conference.
