Washington, DC, July 15, 2010 – Patriot Technologies Group, LLC (PTG) is excited to announce the official launch of Patriot Aerial Academy (PAA), its law enforcement, fire, and homeland security training program for high performance aerial surveillance. 
“Patriot Aerial Academy, our premier law enforcement, fire, and homeland security support service, has carefully planned and built a highly sophisticated and engaging training program,” said PTG Director of Training Mike Wirstrom. “The program is broad in scope, distinctive, innovative, and led by a team of highly qualified instructors.”
PAA is comprised of five schools of instruction including Intelligence, Management, Air, Ground and Equipment offering the following:

- Management of Aerial Support
- Aircrew Support for Law Enforcement

- Ground Officer Employment of Aerial Support

As part of the Aircrew Support School, the Guardian Eye academic course offers a discussion of real life scenarios that are reviewed to improve the flight crews’ skill in providing the highest level of support to the law enforcement team. Emphasis is placed on the effectiveness of available tools provided to the aircrew, as well as building efficient communication skills, integrating with the entire law enforcement team to become a force multiplier, and enhancing ground and air officer safety. Practical exercises are used throughout the course to enhance the overall classroom experience and construct a deeper level of understanding.
